Foundry App Types

An overview of the business-function apps you can add to an Org through Foundry, covering what each one runs and who operates it.

Foundry lets you add departmental apps to your Org, each one covering a distinct business function and run by its own AI agent. Every app follows the same pattern: a summary on your Org's main dashboard, a full windowed app for deeper work, and an agent that reads from and writes to your Org's shared knowledge base. Use this page to see which business functions are available to add and what each one covers before you decide what your Org needs.

Support and Community are also part of the built-in set of departmental apps an Org can run, alongside the functions above.

How each app works

  • A short summary section sits on your Org's dashboard, giving you a snapshot and a way to launch the full app.

  • The full app opens in its own window for deeper work in that business function.

  • Each app is operated by a named agent persona whose actions and your own actions hit the same underlying record, so you and the agent are always working from the same up-to-date view.

  • Every app grounds its work in your Org's own knowledge base rather than a generic template, so its answers and recommendations reflect what your Org actually knows and has done.

Before you turn on Growth or Marketing, make sure your Org has something to sell: see Creating Your Offers to set up what your Org offers first. For more on what the Knowledge / Brain app shows and how to correct it, see Adding Business Knowledge.

New business functions are still being added to Foundry, so the set of apps you can add to your Org will keep growing over time.
